Gary H. Glover, PhD
Professor of Radiology, Neurosciences & Biophysics, Electrical Engineering & Psychology – courtesy of Stanford University, School Medicine
Member of National Academy of Engineering, AIMBE fellow, ISMRM fellow, ISMRM Gold Medal.
 
Dr. Glover has received international recognition as the pioneer in developing systems and establishing standards for magnetic resonance and computed tomography imaging. Presently his research is directed in part towards exploration of rapid MRI scanning methods using spiral and other non-Cartesian k-space trajectories for dynamic imaging of function. He has published more than 300 articles in the area of medical imaging, held nearly 50 patents and been an editorial board member of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and several other journals. He was the ISMRM president in 1998.
